These two are the Epson top home cinema viewing box that delivers a very enhanced image but if you are confused between these both then below listed are some differentiating factors that you should consider before buying either one of them.
Quick Links:
Contrast ratio
Super duper innovation is not supported by the Epson Home Theater 4010, despite its 4K display. To enhance picture performance, you should increase the contrast, but be sure to find a proper equivalence while setting the contrast ratio.
Epson’s 4010 offers a 200,000:1 dynamic range. The difference between this printer and the Epson 5050 UB is huge.
Using a pair of specialized polarising lenses, Epson’s UltraBlack technology decreases the amount of extraneous light passing through the printhead. Thus, the black depth is decreased, the image is darkened, and the contrast is increased. The Epson 5050 UB has a 1,000,000:1 dynamic range.
Brightness
Epson’s 5050 UB printer has a somewhat brighter print than Epson’s 4010. The Epson 4010 offers 2600 brightness, which is 200 higher than this model. To be fair, each of these lanterns uses similar color schemes, so it’s important to keep this in mind when making comparisons between them.
Using the mechanical iris adjustment and Interactive Iris, the intensity may be adjusted in all modes on the 5050 UB and comparable models. When contrasted to the Epson 5050 UB, it’s a lot lower. The Epson 4010 lags behind the 5050 UB throughout every pixel intensity because of a little differential in luminosity, Epson 4010 refurbished.

In comparison to conventional DLP lamps, Epson 3LCD devices with High Definition 3D capabilities often give substantially higher 3D settings comparable to their highest 2D mode. The Epson 4010 and 5050UB projections excel in this area, delivering rich 3D pictures that are easy on the eyes.
Colour calibrating is enhanced within both Epson 4010 and the Epson 5050 UB projections when using 3D Dramatic mode. The 3D Dramatic configuration sacrifices intensity to increase picture quality. The color integrity is robust enough for other individuals to perceive satisfaction even in the higher setting,
HDR adjustments
The Epson 5050 UB takes things a step further by including a goals build slider. The changeable slider on the controller enables divide control of tuning the video getting viewed, and it usually amounts to delivering the benefits of a tailored home theatre environment. In the end, it’s a terrific encounter all around.
To improve the general brilliance of the picture, the Epson 4010 supports four distinct HDR options, Epson 3800 vs 5050ub
4k Enhancement Technology
Epson touts its Home Theater 4010 and 5050UB models as 4K television sets. Both lamps have a native definition of 1080p, although this is not the case. The 4K Improvement Engine is used by Epson to enable a 4K projection. Four 1080p displays make up the 4K quality.
Using Epson’s 4K density innovation, each picture is shifted horizontally to give the 4K effect. Devices, as opposed to TVs, have the benefit of being able to display images as large as 300 inches across the horizontal, Epson 5050ub refurbished
Colour Accuracy & Keystone
Epson has a lot of knowledge when it comes to color grading since they provide printers and other devices that require it. With both the Home Theater system 4010 and the 5050UB, Epson used a 3-Chip architecture.
These projections can display the entire DCI-P3 gamut thanks to these technological advances. As a result, you can be certain that whatever material you see on these projections will be in full, true color. Additionally, both projections are HDR-ready.

No matter where it is positioned, keystone adjustment helps maintain the projection picture rectangularly. A 30-degree mechanical keystone adjustment is available mostly on the 4010 and 5050UB. Unfortunately, you can only alter the height of the device in vertical directions.
Picture quality
Aside from its precise color reproduction, the Home Theatre 4010 has a luminance rating of 2400 lumens. Colors and brightness will not be wiped away even if there is minimal usable light in the area. In terms of contrast, the 200,000:1 image quality is far less. As opposed to other projections, this one has a lesser dynamic range than the 5050UB, but it is still quite strong in comparison to the industry.
The Epson Home Cinema 5050UB, When compared to competing projectors in this price range, the Home Entertainment 5050UB is simply unmatched. By five times, the dynamic range goes from 1 million to 1 million, and the maximum brilliance is enhanced to 2600 lights. The 5050UB was awarded an HDR10 certification based on these remarkable specs, which will be examined in more detail later.

Is a projector with outstanding Picture quality and a whisper-quiet operation. With the dedicated main page screen in Epson 4010, you can quickly pick resources and color palettes for your printouts. The movement screen smoothing technique is excellent for fast-paced programs like athletics.
Lighting is a small problem that does not need a major change. As expected from such a small projection screen, the blacks were deep and rich, the details were crisp and the colors were true to their intended hues.
The Epson 5050 UB is an excellent projector in comparison to the Epson 4010. 5050UB uses sensor technology to produce 4K pictures. The Epson home theatre 5050UB 4K UHD 3LCD projection is a monster, but the images it creates are breathtaking.
There are three luminance settings on this projection. Epson UB 5050 Full HD is excellent for the budget. HDR is superior to Epson 4010 in terms of clarity and brightness. Hd offers a wide range of ways to tweak its look.
